Anderson Manufacturing announced the expansion of their AR-15 product line with the introduction of new models featuring the A2 carry handle. These additions come as part of their retro series, broadening the variety for aficionados of classic firearm designs. In addition to the retro series enhancements, Anderson Manufacturing revealed their new line of premium AR-15 rifles and pistols under the Frontline name.
During SHOT 2024, Anderson showcased 11.5-, 16-, and 20-inch models, all equipped with the A2 carry handle that harkens back to the original M16 rifle’s design. The new A2 carry handle models are slated to begin shipping to customers in about a month. While exact pricing has not been disclosed, potential buyers should expect these to be priced slightly above the current retro offerings.
These new Frontline offerings come with a choice of either quad rail or “Stable Lock” MLOK handguards, paired with H1 or H2 buffers complementary to the length of the gas system. This new Frontline series aims to blend traditional styling with modern performance enhancements.
Further details on the Frontline series confirmed that Anderson plans to start distributing these models on February 15, 2024. With prices ranging between $799 and $849, they are positioning these firearms within a competitive market segment that balances cost and quality.
