During the SHOT Show 2024, Black Rain Ordnance introduced the new Frontline and Frontline Plus pistols as well as a new line of bolt action rifles.
The Frontline and Frontline Plus series are Glock 19-pattern designs, compatible with many aftermarket parts and mags from that platform. Both series are RMR-ready from the factory. The Frontline Plus also comes with a ported barrel and slide, and the option to upgrade the trigger. They are shipping to dealers at the end of February. They can be had in your choice of 529 Cerakote options at added cost. $599 MSRP for Frontline, $699 for Frontline Plus, add $50 for color option.
Tyler Weatherby, representing Black Rain Ordnance, discussed the company’s emphasis on reliability for these models, highlighting the effort to enhance this aspect of the pistols. Weatherby also pointed out that these products are backed by a lifetime warranty, underscoring the company’s commitment to quality and customer service.
Black Rain Ordnance’s new rifle lineup is built on an action resembling the Remington 700 and features a hand-removable barrel once the set screw is loosened. The lineup includes the Match, Patriarch, and Contour models, each serving a specific style of shooting from precision tactical engagements to traditional hunting endeavors.

The Match model:
- Available in 6mm Creedmoor and 6.5mm Creedmoor
- Features an MDT ACC Elite Chassis
- Includes a BRO Tempest muzzle brake
- Sports a 26 inch barrel with 48 inches Overall Length (OAL), and weighs 15 pounds 8 ounces
The Patriarch model:
- Offered with a 22 inch barrel in calibers such as 6.5 Creedmoor, 6 Creedmoor, and 6.5 PRC
- A 20 inch barrel option for .308 Winchester
- Houses a WOOX chassis equipped with MLOK slots
- Equipped with BRO Tempest muzzle brake and a Triggertech adjustable trigger
- Measures 43 inches in OAL and weighs 9 pounds 3 ounces
The Contour model:
- Barrel options similar to Patriarch with 22 inch barrel for 6.5 Creedmoor, 6 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and 20 inch barrel for .308 Winchester
- Features a 43 inch OAL and a BRO Tempest muzzle brake
- Comes with an AMEND2 modular chassis with MLOK slots
- Weighs at 8 pounds 8 ounces
Left-hand versions of these bolt-actions are anticipated to be available by summer. The company has stated that their goal was to create a line versatile enough to target all segments within the shooting world, from target shooters to hunters. Pricing for the Match stands at $4,499 MSRP, while the Patriarch is set at $2,979 MSRP, and the Contour at $2,589 MSRP.
