Riton Optics is unveiling its long-awaited First Focal Plane (FFP) Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO), the 5 TACTIX 1-10 x 24 riflescope. The wide zoom adjustment on this scope gives carbine users the ability to make quick, close distance shots in addition to more controlled, precise shots at further distances. A Christmas tree style reticle also helps with longer distance shots.
“The 5 TACTIX LPVO has been a long time coming and we are thrilled it is finally here,” said Jeremiah Alexander, Director of Product, Riton Optics. “We have spent a lot of of time, research and development creating a riflescope that would excel in any environment and exceed expectations.”
First Focal Plane optics are more expensive and require more sophisticated methods of manufacturing. FFP reticles are preferred by many shooters because the reticle grows or shrinks with the magnification level and stays proportionate and true the whole time. This MRAD based LPVO is designed with a 30 mm diameter main tube and has capped turrets that are also zero adjustable. Clicks are precise and audible and tactile. One of the features on this riflescope, as with all other Riton Optics 3,5,7 series scopes is its dual lever throw system. Shooters can adjust their zoom level throughout the whole range without having to compromise their shooting position. The 5 TACTIX LPVO’s outer housing is manufactured with 6061-T6 aluminum.
