Sturm, Ruger & Co. is releasing a special 60th Anniversary Sixth Edition Collectors Series of one of the best-selling classic rifles of all time, the semi-automatic Ruger 10/22, chambered in .22LR. The Ruger 10/22 has been in continuous production since 1964, becoming one of the most successful rimfire designs and rifle designs of the modern age.
This unique special edition Ruger 10/22 variant is outfitted with a stainless-steel barrel and a silver-finished receiver bedded to a gray Magpul Hunter X-22 stock. The new Ruger 10/22 Sixth Edition Collector Series rifle also has a distinctly monogrammed bolt with “60th Anniversary” markings. The charging handle and trigger are accented with a red finish that catches the eye and pairs well with the white/stainless metal and grey stock. The rifle is optics-ready out of the box and is equipped with a Picatinny rail base atop its receiver. It also includes a glare-reducing front sight and an adjustable rear peep sight. In addition to this, Ruger also outfitted this 60th anniversary special edition rifle with an extended magazine release not found on the standard models. This new rifle also retains many features found across all Ruger 10/22 models like the pushbutton, cross-bolt safety. In addition to a stainless steel barrel, the 60th Anniversary Edition Ruger 10/22 has a threaded muzzle with ½ x 28 tpi industry-standard thread and pitch pattern and comes from the factory with an M-16A2 style flash hider.
Besides the features and accessories found on the rifle itself, there are special memorabilia items included with the rifle, like a Sixth Edition Ruger Collector’s Series metallic street sign and a pin.
