First Look: Nextorch WL15 Weaponlight

Nextorch Industries has just unveiled its WL15 Tactical Weapon Light. The Nextorch WL15 consists of a rail-mounted light designed in Germany for tactical handguns. The WL15 is primarily engineered for hard-use and uniform duty applications. With that in mind, this tactical white light is designed to project up to 1,200 lumens with 44,1000 candela behind it. The WL15 provides crucial forward illumination for rapid and accurate target identification.

As a modern clean-sheet design, the new Nextorch WL15 Tactical Weapon Light features a front-loaded battery access system and a quick-detach rail mount, enabling lightning-fast battery swaps without the necessity of having to take it off the firearm. The housing, which is manufactured from aluminum, is also equipped with ambidextrous toggle switches that provide intuitive momentary-on and constant-on control from either side. These toggle switches also include a brightness memory function. Nextorch designed the WL15 to accept three interchangeable modular switch caps, so that end-users can customize the WL15’s controls to match their needs, even with gloves on.

The WL15 comes standard with a choice of five separate rail adapter plates that provide a platform that can fit MIL-STD-1913 picatinny, Glock and other pistol accessory rails.
