Roundup: Holsters For The Heckler & Kock CC9

While HK certainly isn’t the first major gun manufacturer to roll out a slim, polymer-frame striker-fired carry pistol, no one can say that the German gunmaker didn’t take its time and develop this offering with some careful diligence.
As a relatively new gun that has been out for less thana year, most holster options reflect a modern market segment and are made from Kydex to cater to modern carry styles. Here are a few different holster options for your Heckler & Kock CC9.
PHLster Enigma Express (MSRP: $154)
PHLster’s Enigma Express concealment system caters to the HK CC9 pistol via the Skeleton holster shell. The Enigma Express system consists of a belt-less concealment rig that relies on an interior belt to support the holster as opposed to a traditional gun belt and pants. For the carrier, this means that they have more freedom to place and conceal their pistols however they see fit as they’re not anchored to the waistband and belt of pants or shorts. This also means that wearers can wear different styles of clothes like dresses, active wear, or even dress clothes. The Enigma Express system also allows for dress clothes to be tucked in, something that’s not as straightforward without that internal independent belt.
Tenicor Velo5 AIWB Holster (MSRP: $125)
Tenicor’s Velo5 AIWB concealment holster for the HK CC9 features modern materials and components. Not only does the Velo5 easily accommodate slide-mounted optics, but it uses Discreet Carry Concepts Mod 4 clips which are some of the sturdiest metal belt attachment clips on the market today. In addition to that, the Tenicor Velo5 holster shell is contoured for optimal concealment and includes a camming bar to help reduce printing. Similarly, all of its belt attachment hardware holes allow for tweaking and angling of belt clips.
KSG Armory Revere Holster (MSRP: $85)
Modern slim defensive carry pistols like the CC9 not only have optics-ready slides, but their frames also accommodate mini-tactical lights like Streamlight’s TLR-7 series. KSG Armory’s Revere holster is another contemporary concealment option with light-bearing capabilities. By default, the KSG Revere comes with another Discreet Carry Concepts product, the Monoblock belt clip and a ModWing for added concealability. Like its bigger brother, the KSG Lexington holster, the Revere also incorporates the KSG Clipgrid system.
CrossBreed MiniTuck IWB Holster (MSRP: $74.95)
CrossBreed’s best-selling MiniTuck IWB hybrid holster is available for the HK CC9 pistol. As a hybrid design, the CrossBreed MiniTuck uses a Kydex shell that is fastened to a longer leather backing which works in tandem with IWB concealment belt clips. This style of holster evenly distributes the weight around the belt. Since the leather backing is not as rigid as Kydex, it also provides a degree of comfort to the wearer.
ANR Design Standard OWB Holster For HK CC9 (MSRP: $86.99)
ANR Design was one of the first brands to partner with Heckler & Koch to design and produce holster options for the HK CC9 at the time of the gun’s launch. One of ANR Designs’ options is its standard Kydex OWB (outside-the-waistband) Holster. It has a pancake-style design with pancake-style belt loops, a built-in sweat guard and a screw near the trigger to adjust retention. ANR’s OWB Holster is contoured to hug the body and to be suitable for strong-side concealed carry with looser fitting garments that fit over the holstered gun.
