First Look: ARO Products Holster Wraps

ARO Products, a new holster-accessory company, has recently launched its first product, the Wrap. The ARO Wrap is a polycarbonate lattice sheet that is designed to wrap around Safariland Vault or Safariland 6000 Series tactical duty holsters.

The many slots found on the polycarbonate sheet allow for MOLLE compatible accessories to be mounted to the front, the rear and sides of a duty holster in order to either free up space on the belt, keep items closer to the holster or to provide any other creative degree of convenience that an end user can benefit from. ARO Holster Wraps are also designed to be anchored securely in place by the Safariland holster’s existing three-screw-pattern hardware, so it requires no additional hardware.

The Wrap Legacy is designed to work with most Safariland 6000 and 7000 Series and Safariland Vault Holsters.

  • Lightweight design: The Wrap is very lightweight, weighing under 1 ounce.
  • Durable, reduces bulk: The form-fitting design allows for minimal bulk added to the user. The strong woven polypropylene construction is built to survive years of use.
  • Universal mounting: The only product of its kind that allows mounting on all sides, The Wrap is compatible with both MOLLE accessories and accessories with screws and washers.

The ARO Products Wrap allows end-users to attach accessories such as tourniquet pouches, magazine pouches, handcuff cases or other miscellaneous MOLLE-based items to the face and sides of the holster. Installation is straightforward and all the end user needs to do is to pre-arrange their pouches (without anything inside) over the Wrap lattice first and secure each pouch’s MOLLE system prior to setting the Wrap around the specific Safariland holster. To secure the ARO Products Wrap, you simply line up the holes with Safariland’s built-in screw holes and re-thread all the hardware, spacer and bushings over their original spots. The completed holster is then mounted to the duty belt as normal.
