First Look: G-Force Arms 12 Hammer Shotgun

Nevada-based GForce Arms has recently unveiled a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun patterned after the classic layout of the AR: the new GForce Arms 12 Hammer.
As it is patterned after a traditional AR-10 layout, the new Turkish-made GForce Arms 12 Hammer shotgun feeds from a detachable-box magazine and has a stock that is straight and in-line with its bore. It also sports a modern M-Lok compatible handguard, and the lower receiver is flared out to make reloading easier. Unlike other semi-automatic shotguns designed to be similar to AR-style rifles that require the use of shells with a muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps or more, this new offering from GForce Arms is able to handle a wide variety of shotgun ammunition ranging from very light sporting No. 7½ shells to full-house 3-inch magnum loads.
Like AR-pattern rifles, GForce Arms also builds the 12 Hammer’s upper and lower receiver sets from the industry standard 7075-T6 series aluminum for durability and manufactures 12 Hammer shotgun barrels from 4140 ordnance steel. In addition to this, these barrels are cut and threaded to use Benelli’s popular Mobil pattern choke tubes, which are used by a wide variety of shotgun models.
