First Look: Kifaru QRF Fanny Pack

Kifaru has just launched a new EDC (everyday carry) fanny pack, the QRF Pack. This fanny pack implements different materials such as 500 Denier cordura nylon, YKK zippers and a secure stretch webbing belt. Overall, the QRF sports a minimalist and low profile design to ensure that it stays free and clear of the wearer.
This new product from Kifaru includes a main compartment to safely store a handgun while providing quick access in a secure manner. Internally, it’s big enough to accommodate most sub-compact and compact defensive pistols and revolvers. In addition, the new Kifaru QRF includes an internal Rapid Deployment Panel that provides the end user with a dedicated area on-board for spare magazines, medical supplies, tourniquets and other miscellaneous gear. Externally, the new Kifaru QRF pack has a zippered pocket for items like cell phones, wallets, house keys or other daily items. Maintaining a clear separation between these personal items and EDC carry gear is one of the QRF fanny pack’s main design considerations, in order to avoid mix-ups.
“We wanted to create a pack that transitions seamlessly between daily life and demanding environments,” said Mackenzie Gates, community marketing manager at Kifaru. “The QRF offers a purpose-built design that gives users the ability to stay prepared and organized without sacrificing comfort or discretion.”
