First Look: Kimber KDS9c TFS Pistol

Kimber has just unveiled the new 9mm KDS9c TFS, which is part of Kimber’s KDS9c product line. These compact pistols were first introduced in April of 2023 and are designed around personal protection and EDC (everyday carry). The single-action KDS9c series takes after the venerable 1911 in many regards, which include the triggers and fundamental frame and slide layouts, but while also incorporating more modern elements such as double-stack magazines. The magazine release catches are also reversible, and pistols in this series include ambidextrous thumb safeties to suit both left-handed and right-handed shooters. The new Kimber KDS9c TFS version includes an aluminum frame with a Picatinny railed dust cover for accessory mounting, an optics ready slide and a threaded 4.6-inch barrel using the industry standard 0.5×28 inches threading.
