First Look: Magpul MBUS Pro Front Sight

Magpul Industries recently launched a hooded version of its top-of-the-line auxiliary Magpul MBUS Pro Front Sight. While the original version of Magpul’s MBUS Pro Front Sight Is reminiscent of the classic AR-15 triangular front sight, with its two protective “ears” and a four-position square post, the new Magpul MBUS Pro Front Sight Hooded has a front sight hood that harkens back to some HK or Kalashnikov style front sights.
In addition to having a different aesthetic than the traditional AR-15 pattern iron sight profile, the hooded shape of Magpul’s new MBUS Pro variant also plays well with diopter-style rear sights, such as any of Magpul’s metal or polymer rear sights. The new MBUS Pro Front Sight Hooded sits at the same level as Magpul’s other MBUS products. This front sight can mount on any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny or STANAG 4694 rail. This also includes receiver-height gas blocks if applicable.
