The sight can be mounted in different ways, such as on a taller Picatinny based mount or on shorter mounts that directly connect to the optics using the established Aimpoint Micro footprint pattern. The optic itself also gives shooters the choice to shoot with red dot only or a reticle consisting of a central red dot and a wider outer ring.
