First Look: SIG Sauer P365 Fuse
SIG Sauer has launched the new P365 Fuse pistol, a 9mm striker-fired pistol that is part of the SIG Sauer P365 family of slim pistols. While the majority of SIG Sauer P365 models are ultra-compact and meant for everyday concealed carry, the new SIG P365 Fuse takes a different approach, since it was designed to be a slightly larger compact pistol, similar to carry guns with double stack magazines that hold at least 15 rounds and also have 4-inch barrels. The new P365 Fuse model has a 4.03-inch barrel and holds 21 rounds. However, because it’s based on the SIG Sauer P365, the Fuse remains thinner overall than most other pistols with a similar capacity. The P365 Fuse has a width of only 1 inch, just like the original smaller P365 series guns. SIG Sauer’s goal with this pistol was to bring its customers the utility of a full-size pistol with all the qualities of a thinner and easier to carry EDC pistol that happens to be based on a best-selling, smaller-size pistol.
