Daniel Defense Contract Overrun Upper Receiver Groups

Daniel Defense just announced a limited-time opportunity of interest to fans of military hardware. Designed, built and tested for special operations groups, Daniel Defense Contract Overrun Upper Receiver Groups give you a chance to pick up one of Daniel Defense’s most rigorously tested products in its history.

Daniel Defense Contract Overrun Upper Receiver Group

The company offers a limited quantity of the upper receiver groups to the public. It comes with an 11.5-inch Government-profile barrel and carbine-length gas system. A DD4 7.0 M-LOK rail provides tremendous utility and mounting surface for tactical accessories. The upper receiver employs a front sight post, rear sight, M16-profile bolt carrier group, and Grip-N-Rip charging handle.

Make no mistake, this build design leans toward fast shooting and working in confined, CQB-like environments. For civilians, it offers an awesome build to convert most any M4/M16 into a handy, compact home defender.

The upper receiver group retails for $1,092, but supplies are limited, and all NFA rules apply, so act fast. For more info, visit danieldefense.com.

Editor’s Take

Mil-Spec gets thrown around a lot in this industry, and it doens’t necessarily mean best in class, by a wide margin. But products built for SOCOM typically rise above the common, average fare. Daniel Defense owns an envious reputation for building quality AR-15s. They build guns that run. When you amplify that build resume with the standards required by SOCOM, you’re getting a product that has been tested to its failure points. Most civilian shooters will never burn through enough brass to find those differences, but it sure is nice to know your carbine can outperform you should the occasion arise.
